Dr. Brittany Todd is a Doctor of Pharmacy with ten years of experience in clinical pharmacy. She interned at King Soopers pharmacy in Aurora, Colorado from 2005-2009 while going to school at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Upon graduation in 2009 with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree, she completed a post-graduate year 1 pharmacy practice residency in 2010 at Lutheran Medical Center in Wheatridge, Colorado. She, then, completed a post-graduate year 2 ambulatory care pharmacy practice residency at Kaiser Permanente Colorado in 2011.
Shortly after finishing her second residency, Dr. Todd began working in the Clinical Pharmacy Cardiac Risk Service at Kaiser Permanente Colorado and remained there until late 2019 when she made a career-changing decision to start her own clinical pharmacy service. At Kaiser Permanente Colorado, Dr. Todd managed over 1200 patients with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. She worked closely with primary care, cardiology, and neurology providers. She has over 9 years of experience in the management of heart disease, type 2 diabetes mellitus, hypertension, dyslipidemia, tobacco cessation, and much more.
Dr. Todd is board certified in pharmacotherapy specialties with added qualifications in cardiology (BCPS-AQ Cardiology). She is also a Certified Lipid Specialist (CLS) and certified in Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
Dr. Todd is a devoted wife, mother, and pharmacist. Her husband is a local firefighter/paramedic. She enjoys family vacations to the beach or mountains, playing outside with her three children, hot summer nights with a glass of wine, and learning more about her Catholic faith.
Dr. Michele Claiborne is a Doctor of Pharmacy with eleven years of experience in clinical pharmacy and academia. She interned at King Soopers pharmacy in Aurora, Colorado from 2005-2009 while going to school at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Upon graduation in 2009 with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree, she completed a post-graduate year 1 pharmacy practice residency in 2010 at University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, Colorado. She, then, completed a post-graduate year 2 a family medicine pharmacy practice residency at University of Colorado in 2011.
Upon residency completion, Dr. Claiborne began working at Regis University School of Pharmacy with a specialty in Internal Medicine. She has worked as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Denver Health Medical Center (2011-2018) and now works at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Aurora, Colorado. She is a full-professor at Regis University and has taught over 1000 pharmacy students both in the classroom and at her clinical sites. She specializes in hepatology, nephrology, infectious disease, cardiology, and endocrinology.
Dr. Claiborne is board certified in pharmacotherapy specialties.
As a professional pharmacy, Sacred Heart Clinical Pharmacy Specialties follows all state and federal laws regarding patient confidentiality by protecting HIPAA and Patient Health Information. We use software security settings as well as locked files and password protected data to ensure all patient information is secure. We will work with providers, pharmacies, pharmacy-data companies, and insurance companies within the scope of our practice to optimize care while ensuring secure patient health information. We use secure telehealth platforms for phone calls.
