Pain and Fever Dosing Guide for Infants and Children
Help find the ideal dose of fever medicine or children!
A quick and convenient reference guide to help parents, caregivers, and providers easily manage pain and fever in infants and children. From teething to growing pains to high fever, pain and fever medications may help ease the discomfort your child is experiencing.
This dosing guide takes the guess-work out of dosing common pain and fever medications and gives you weight-based doses suited for your child's needs.
Also included in a dosing schedule worksheet that helps you keep track of what medication was given, how much, and at what time. The goal is to help prevent accidental re-dosing of the same medication or giving doses too close together or too far apart. This is especially helpful when multiple children are requiring medications and you must remember who is due for what medication and at what time! This is great for families with more than one child, providers, and child/infant care centers.
Our goal is to help you dose your child's pain and fever medications in under 2 minutes. Remember to always ask your child's healthcare provider before giving any medication or dose.

Some children respond better to one fever medicine over another. My kids respond to ibuprofen better, but often need both ibuprofen and Tylenol to treat stubborn fevers.
